Our Strand By Me community hub is located in The Strand Shopping Centre in Bootle. The team offers support and signposting to increase the wellbeing of the local community. They also host drop-in sessions led by other community groups to address the most pressing issues in the local area, including; housing, employment, mental health and smoking cessation.
Strand By Me is open 10-4 Monday-Friday. Drop in sessions with other providers vary.

What We Do
When you come to Strand By Me, you will be greeted by a member of the team. We then have a chat to find out what you require or answer any questions you have. For example, this could mean:
– Helping an individual to find out the opening times of the local Healthy Living Centre
– Providing the details of a service that can help a family access support with mould in their home
– Being the welcoming friendly face for someone who is needing more support with their wellbeing, walking them through their options and deciding the best route for them to take moving forward
– Signposting to services in Sefton that can provide long term support or services
Please note we are not social workers, support workers, nor health, medical or clinical professionals. We cannot fill out paperwork for housing or benefit claims.
